Service Description

FOIAfile is a tool that helps individuals file Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests with United States federal agencies. We generate properly formatted FOIA request letters and deliver them to agency FOIA offices on your behalf. FOIAfile is developed and operated by T Miller Law.

Not Legal Advice

While FOIAfile is built by attorneys, use of this platform does not create an attorney-client relationship. The information provided through this service is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. If an agency fails to respond to your request, FOIAfile can connect you with experienced FOIA attorneys for a free consultation.

User Responsibilities

By using FOIAfile, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information in your requests
  • Use the service for lawful purposes only
  • Not submit requests intended to harass or obstruct agency operations
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials

Limitation of Liability

FOIAfile is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that agencies will respond to your requests, that email delivery will be successful in all cases, or that the information provided is complete or current. We are not responsible for any agency's response or lack thereof.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
